How wide will Mancini's transfer net be

Be interesting to see where Mancini looks to when securing his transfer targets?

2 players signed so far from Middlesbrough & Inter.

He obviously knows Italy and has had '6 months' in England. The Club will have access to all the top agents and should know now which players would move to City and which he feels would significantly improve us. It appears that Mancini wants his new players in before the World Cup - this is great news as it will help players to bond together at pre-season and hopefully start quickly in our league campaign next season.

I see his focus being on England, Italy and Germany though am intrigued to see how he resolves the Robinho question - do we bring Neymar and Ganso over from Brazil as part of a 'swop' deal?

Mancini appears to put a lot into work ethic. Link this with good technique and a mentality of not knowing when beat would make for a very good combination. Our attacking play needs to improve including set pieces. Be very interesting to see the players we sign and how they improve our team. Very exciting times ahead.

It will be interesting that is for certain. It is patently obvious that we need a top class striker and a winger with hopefully a quality left back and central midfielder that can do more than protect the back four. The striker and winger that I would particularly like to see come in are Edin Dzeko of Wolfsburg and Angelo di Maria of Benfica. If it was possible then I would use Robinho as part of the di Maria deal as you can't really see him coming back here given all the nonsense he has been allegedly spouting off in the press.

I also believe it would be good for the club to get their targets in before the world cup as we need to hit the ground running next season.

We won't get Dzeko. It looks like him and Misimovic are heading to AC Milan together. Also, it would be better to buy the two as a pair. Misimovic is as good as, if not better than, Alonso as a playmaker.

As long as we don't buy too heavily from the Italian league, or Ibrahimovic, I'm happy. Someone mentioneed looking towards the Bundesliga for players the other day- that's the strategy I'd adopt.
