Tevez would be very difficult to replace; he'd be a great player if he only scored 10 goals but the fact he got nearly 30 makes him almost priceless. Bellamy would be a big miss but less so than Tevez. No one else imo. Those are the only 2 people at the club that have the real 'winning mentality'. We have plenty of good players but they're all replacable with someone similar.
Not too many players anywhere have the talent as well as the workrate like Tevez & Bellamy . I would have added Ireland to that catagory back in the days when he was arsed but not on last season's showing.

Tevez is probably the only one we couldn't afford to lose as a one off.
I'd really hate to lose Kompany, Bellers, AJ, Lescott, Ade, Gaz Baz, Shay or Hart.

I'd keep him for now but as a player he is easily replacable.

I would say we have in these 3 players, pretty much as good as it gets.
Kompany
Barry (as a defensive midfielder, like how he does for England. Far batter than nige)
Tevez
This is our spine, and its a fucking good one. Build a team around it.

That's a top notion Bingo. I'd love to see Barry used as holding midfielder next season. He'd be good at that position. Forget the pressure of going forward and let him do what he does best.

If we signed (plucking two out the air here) Gerrard and Modric, then Bazza could do this, and we'd have the best midfield 3 in the league.

I agree with that
I actually really like Nigel but there is no need for us to have a team selection/strategy which is predicated upon NdJ being a nailed on starter/necessity
Like Mr Wings says....GB can do the defensive role (and can distribute the ball well too). He should be the one who is the definite starter with Nigel starting in those games (Chelsea, Man Utd etc etc) where he excels and his disruption/destruction is really needed but otherwise being used to kill games when we are ahead and want to shut up shop.
I would hate to lose any of the above....probably add Adam Johnson to that list too. The others....would prefer not to lose several but it wouldn't be a fatal blow should we do so

Out of the team we have now I would like to see these be the places we fill in.
SG

AJ--**--GB--**
CT--EA
Out of those, it's imperative that we keep the centrehalves, Gareth Barry and Carlito.
The rest lift right out.

Tevez goes without saying. Komps, De Jong, Barry, Johno (not the tubby one), Swp (squad player) and Bellers. Though have sneaky feeling Bellers will be off and will come back to haunt us.

Agreed with this. Everybody else can be replaced although I would be devastated to lose AJ as that boys gonna be huge in the future I reckon.

Yeah, I really rate Lescott too, although Kompo is better.

i would suggest that because we have only seen the team working well as a team in the last 6 games or so.. that pretty much all the players we have at the moment have not yet shown their true colours or collective ability. Mancini is working everyday with these players and has the benefit of seeing them perform in training etc.. I have been saying this for a while and that contrary to what the press have been saying that we will have a wholesale clearout ( just based on the fact we have the money ) i dont feel that Mancini or the club will be looking at it that way. There is a lot of room for nearly all our players to improve both individually and collectively. We have obvious weaknesses but also we have a lot of players who have the right attitude to improve themselves and the team. On top of that we are going to be playing 2 games a week and will need options all over the pitch. reading into Bobby's words he obviously sees players with a good level of flexibilty as a serious advantage.
So take Lescott as one example, he hasn't yet got in the groove with City, but there is little reason to conclude that he wont.. after a bit of a run he did improve quite dramatically. He is flexible also, able to play RB or CB

Lescott is a top player,he has different attributes that suit playing next to Vinny.
They could be our centre backs for years and years.
Also
Id like this.

Tevez and johnson(adam), everyone else is replaceable in my opinion.
