I would like him to become a coach/member/scout in our youth setup. I really like him and it would be ashame to lose a guy like him around the club but I dont think he can take another season in the prem.

Really nice guy and great pro but whether he has the right attributes for any of the roles you have listed I wouldnt know. I do hope we don't find a job for him just for the sake of it.

I would like him to stay in the squad, they talk about this winning mentality all the time, the more people we get with it the more hope we have of weeding out the Typical City attitude.

I would like him to stay maybe another year. Very professional player and to be honest I think he did fine for us. His goal against Scunthorpe was world class too. :)

exactly what i thought, you need players coming in working with him and knowing what he has acheived and raises the bar for the players to acheive.

110% to stay.. as Slim pointed out to be a standard to inspire the youngsters and also he probably has a few cup games left in him.. but i would let him decide if he can play and what his ideas would be to continue working for the club

Squad player, possibly. But only to feature until Christmas in UEFA/LC.

Learn the ropes coaching, then off to one of our feeder clubs/developing foreign academies in a few years' time in a more prominent role, most definitely.

Or for that matter as a coach?

I'd send him packing, never been one for sentiment - and whilst he has had a great career, we owe him nothing

Yes, there is nothing to say he would make a good coach either, I liked Zola but I'm unsure he could even do coahing job for City.
Its just one of those times where we have to forget about sentiment, we're moving forward.

None of us are qualified to comment on what he can or cant do re; coaching or other off the field roles apart from Mancini.

Agree with the "isnt good enough to be a first teamer" but I still reckon he could be used in any emergency we might face for a last 20 minutes on the pitch ??????

I like him and I would like to see him in some sort of role for Man city..he just oozes positivity and experience..thats got to count for something and have its uses?

I met him recently and he really is a top guy. He spoke highly of our accademy lads and says he enjoys helping them both on the training pitch and by also offering advice whilst sat with them eating lunch. He does want to go into coaching, possibly even Management and I would like to see him given the chance to work along side Bobby Manc
