Thaksin Shinawatra clearly thought it was a good idea when he ordered a 'lucky' magic crystal ball to be buried at Eastlands but it hasn't paid off at Manchester City.

The former City owner had the ball, along with porcelain elephants which are considered as symbols of wisdom, put at various places underneath the playing surface to 'energise the players' and create 'harmony' at the stadium in 2008.

But Thaksin's feng shui has done little to improve City's 'luck' and they were dug up by the club as part of drainage improvements earlier this week.

What a terrible article. I think its pretty obvious to anyone that reads it that our fortunes have certainly been on the up since that ball was buried and our home form has been one of the best in the league since.
GET THAT BALL BACK IN THE GROUND BEFORE THE NEW SEASON KICKS OFF!!!
