Sam Allardyce used 110 subs in 38 games, only 4 subs off the maximum allowed for the entire season.

15.... from corners... can't be right! we never score from set pieces... or at least we didn't!

How many did we score from corners the season before this? 1.. maybe 2?

I am struggling to remember many, imagine how good we could be if 75% of our corners didnt hit the first man. Corner taker = league title ;0)

I've gotta say i'm a little lost at why bellers takes the corners, Barry is the best at it, yet he rarely seems to take them. Very confusing.

Nah, they are all fucking cak mate. Johnson, Bellamy, SWP Barry, they all hit the first man with alarming regularity. We have all the combination of height & talent in the box when the ball gets there, so we need to get someone taking these who can hit the dancefloor 9/10, as opposed to 3/10.

I agree with you there john, gotta say as well;

Kompany 6ft 4"
Lescott 6ft 2"
Boateng (most probably signing) 6ft 3" 1/2
Adebayor 6ft 3"

Stick them in the box and life for the corner taker gets a lot easier! No excuses for not planting one on one of the big fella's heads!

You forgot Shaun Wright-Phillips, the greatest header of the ball.

Hitting the first man is not just our problem though its almost universal in football today nearly every game i have watched this season whoever was playing the same thing seemed to happen at corners the taker 7 out of 10 times hit the first man.
