Aplogies if anyone's already posted

Hopefully not a sign of things to come but it seems daft that a side thats never been to America, with no american stars and playing a non american team is charging (or subject to ticket pricing of Galzer proportions) of £42 when the Georgia Dome holds 55,000!
There's no MLS in Atlanta either!

Tickets for the final two matches of the US tour go on sale today to Seasoncard holders only.

The Blues take on Mexican side Club America on Wednesday, July 28 (7.30pm kick-off) in Atlanta and Champions League winners Inter Milan, now managed by Rafa Benitiez, on Saturday, July 31 (kick-off 8pm) in Baltimore.

Remaining tickets will go on open sale on Monday, June 14.

The details are:

Club America v City

* · Venue: Georgia Dome, Atlanta
* · Ticket Prices: £42* (concession prices do not apply)

On Sale:

Thursday, June 10 – All Seasoncard holders

Monday, June 14 – Accesscard/Open Sale

*Supporters will receive their tickets by first class post week commencing July 5

Inter Milan v City

* · Venue: M&T Bank Stadium, Baltimore
* · Ticket Price: £35 (concession prices do not apply)

On Sale:

Thursday, June 10 – All Seasoncard holders

Monday, June 14 – Accesscard/Open Sale

There will be 30 loyalty points awarded to supporters who attend each fixture. Supporters must provide evidence of confirmed, named travel arrangements before loyalty points are allocated.

Absolutely.

Why the hell would City be setting prices in Atlanta?

Are you a negative-story hunter Mr McKay?

42 Pounds works out to about $60 US. Which is about what they charge for the cheapest tickets to American Football in the venue.

The people who own the stadium probably think they're doing City fans a favor.

It's not the usual sort of prices that we pay for pre season friendlies though.

Still 'see City for a fiver' doesn't really fit in with the idea of a prestigious, ground-breaking, world-domination, Gary-Cook-marketing tour does it?

I understand that. If it's the club setting prices, then that's a little out of line.

I'm saying if it's the people in Atlanta setting the price, they probably don't think it's anything out of the ordinary.
