Netherlands coach Bert van Marwijk has a full squad to choose from to face the Slovakia, although Arjen Robben is again likely to start on the bench. Gregory van der Wiel should return at right back in place of Khalid Boulahrouz.

Slovakia coach Vladimir Weiss is likely to stick to a similar line-up to the one that shocked holders Italy 3-2. One enforced change will be in midfield, where Zdeno Strba is suspended. Kamil Kopunek is favourite to deputise.

All the talent in the world, skill, pace, fitness, absolutely no fucking idea how to play football. If someone can bring it out of him we could still have a hell of a player but even when he beats 5 players & creates a goal, it's like he doesn't know how or why it happened & isn't all that arsed whether it happens again.

Hamsik is amazing playing for Napoli, he has really not lived up to expectations in the world cup.
