According to a report in The Telegraph only David James out of England's players at the World Cup makes it on to a list of the most beautiful people (beautifulpeople.com) Wayne Rooney is the ugliest player at the World Cup, Fabio Cannavaro of Italy, David Villa, and Torres the best looking, and England's team was voted second ugliest overall. Who among City players past and present would rate as drop dead gorgeous (if you like that kind of thing) or pug ugly? I reckon Niall Quinn and Paul Power for the first category, though my missus still fancies Samaras. On the other hand neither Gerry Gow nor Shaun Goater, bless them both, would win any beauty contests.

Santa Cruz i think is good looking but then im only going off sterotypes tall, dark etc...

City's best lookers would probably include the likes of Bell, Whitey, Bish, Carlo Nash, Sylvain, Barry etc
Far more interesting are the ugly ones. For me the following stand out:
60's - Ian Bowyer
70's - Big Joe, Kaziu
80's - Mark "Rod Hull" Lillis
90's - Meggo. Pubby Lomas, Tommy Wright, Vonky, Andy M
00's - Blobby, Willo the Wisp, Crofty,

Yeah England have an ugly team, Crouch, Rooney, Terry, SWP, Carragher but with Chuckle 1, Scholes and Rooney if the Trafford Red Socks did manage to get Ribery and perhaps Ronaldinho they could put out a team that could turn milk sour at 40 paces! (a pity Luke Chadwick left!)

Missus really fancies David James. She was royally pissed off when he left us. Now she has found new hope when I told her we are possibly making an offer for Torres.

It's well known though that for many years City have signed good-looking but fairly useless players, whereas the Evil Empire only had ugly players but won a title or two I understand.
