Never heard of the cityecademy but I assume that is the operation in AD that Mr Cassell is now in charge of

Looks very much in line with the kind of academy set up that Barcelona and Arsenal operate over here in Egypt ie. a mainly promotional affair where the City name is used to attract parents to send their kids along to it.

Obviously there is always the chance that a decent young prospect could be uncovered via these operations but the main purpose is to raise (minor) revenue and mainly to promote the City name/brand

Slick video though

I think it's something to do with online coaching education or similar, hence the 'e' bit. I can't remember the details but I think it's something of that nature & a bit of a new thing in the world of football.

Think the video was taken a couple of months ago when City sent an academy side over that included Albert Rusnack. As poste din the other thread im not certain Albert is still with the club.He was on his way to Fulham and wasnt listed as one of the new scholars for next season.Maybe the club have had a change of heart.

Great vid. Me likey. Also, i heard Hughes is still holding Cassell's soul captive in the Phantom Zone which is why he can't uhm leave, or something.

I think it happened something like this...
