Manchester City striker Kelvin Etuhu was arrested after three people were injured in a dispute at a casino.

The 22-year-old forward, who spent last season on loan at Cardiff City, was held on suspicion of wounding. He is due to answer bail next week.

Police were called to the 235 Casino in Manchester city centre after reports of a disturbance.

Two men, aged 24 and 26, and a 23-year-old woman were taken to Manchester Royal Infirmary for treatment to injuries. Mr Etuhu and another man, Leonard Rico Richards, 27, from Longsight, were later arrested.

Crown lawyers must now decide whether the men are to be charged. After emerging through City's Academy ranks, Mr Etuhu made his first senior appearance in September 2007.

Competition for places meant he was loaned to Leicester City towards the end of the 2007/08 season.

He suffered a hamstring injury at the beginning of the 2008/09 season which forced him out well into the New Year.

In August last year, he was loaned to Cardiff for the rest of the season. During that loan spell he returned to City for treatment after picking up an ankle injury in December.

He has made 10 Premier League appearances for City.

The Nigerian player is the brother of Dickson Etuhu, who is currently at Fulham and also played for City.

Was that Kelvin?

At least he took 3 of them out. I think he must've been playing 'Poker' with the bird, Russian 'Roulette' with the lads ;-)

Rico Richards used to play for us circa 2001. He was a striker, and not a very good one.

Kelvin isnt good enough, time to move him on

He played for the under 19s when it was the under 19's, was in the batch after SWP, Dickson Etuhu, Stephen Jordan and Chris Killen. Think only Paddy McCathey came out of that group whose in the top 2 leagues. Richards was always a sub which kind of tells you how good he was. All he had was pace. Never got anywhere near the first team

Small, quick, black, forward. When he played, Frankie Bunn would usually bellow 'Rico' at him constantly to tell him which way he should be running.

Haha. Nope, still can't remember him. Come to think of it I can't remember any of those lot off hand, apart from Paddy McCarthy so it must have been bad!

I think we should get rid. He's too much of a gamble & seems a bit of a seiko.

Next you'll want to get rid of Casio for playing his cards to close to his chest, and just because his movement is a little chronographed.

Bet you'd like to sign that Quartz'er lad from Fulham as well?

He needs to grow up. Playing that game, If he keeps getting busted, being over 21, he'll end up with more than just a TAG.

At the end of the day though it's clear that this is Nige's fault! If he hadn't done that tackle Kelvin wouldn't have been arrested.
