Four top strikers

Four top strikers

Postby Bojinov's left foot » Sat Jul 10, 2010 9:08 pm

IMO for us to challenge for the title and cups we need 4 top strikers. We have Tevez and Adebayor already. Linked with a number of players e.g. Torres, Ibra, Dzeko and Balotelli to name a few.

Who would you like to see at City?

For me it's Torres and Dzeko though there seems to be great confidence that Ibra is coming and Mancini says he will be interested if Balotelli becomes available. How many is too many??

F*ck that lot , get Forlan in, he's proven time after time that he's a great striker. for 10 mill plus, it wouldnt do us any
harm. Furthermore, although I would love Torres and Dzeko, one needs grafters and Forlan is a grafter.

Imo 4 strikers is the ideal for a club chasing 4 trophies. I think we're after Torres & if we get him, we won't buy Dzeko. I can believe Mancini will try to bring in Ibra if Barca will take Robinho.

So I'd go Torres or Dzeko, Tevez, Ade, Ibrahimovic. Obviously, only 2 would likely play together most of the time but I recon any 3 of those could play together depending on the balance of the rest of the team.

The rags team that had 4 quality strikers to choose from + Giggs, Scholes & Beckham, won everything.

I don't think we need two more strikers. Tevez, Ade, Dzeko/Balotelli/Ibra and then either RSC or Caicedo in the fourth spot. Players like Nimely will be hoping to make the cup sides as well.

Even after shifting on Jo, Robinho and Benjani by summer's end we still have so many options up front. Too many good players could be a bad thing.

Forlan has been incredible in the WC. I had no idea he was that good. He could be a difference-maker for City. Pace and commitment, with bags of skill and an eye for goal. Looks like a total player to me.

I would love to see Forlan at City but I think he said a few days ago that he is not interested to go back to England. On the other hand
I would love to see his team mate Suarez at City. I think this guy at only 23 is a big star of the future.

Forlan. Pace, skill, eye for goal, what a total player he has become. Could be the difference-maker for City.

whilst I agree that forlan is a great player he's not really "one of the future" - he's also flopped in the prem before, can't see why it would be any different now
