Either Cook is a wind up merchant, or we are in for a staggering few weeks, cos Noel doesn't strike me as a person who is easily impressed!

So who and where sounds very interesting.

Would Vidic, Evra or Rooney be options? Rooney to City would shake the football world.

Would Tevez go, if so where - Real? Swap or cash - who we want from Real?

Lucio, Sneijder, Schweinsteiger - could these be possible?

Robinho to Barca as part of a deal for Ibra sounds as if it will hapen in some shape.

As we grow and improve we will see some of our individual favourites leave or not getting a game. We will have to get used to this and hope that Mancini is able to manage the egos of a 'world class' squad. Come 2nd Sept I wonder how many of our 25 man squad will be players who can play for England?

What a few weeks we have to look forward to. All this with no Champions League or a trophy for 34 years.

I wish Cook would learn to keep his mouth shut. He shouldn't be mouthing off to fans, even if they are fucking celebs about the clubs future transfer business.

This is a City fan confident with the media on a wind up. The only thing I would take from it that i think he let slip was "not having to convince sweep or bellers into a way of thinking" and no more.

Great free publicity for City without giving away a single detail. Well done to him.

I don't know whether this is a wind up or just him being him and spouting off.

However, what I do know is that I would never knock his commitment to Man City.

To cut a very long story very short .... I was sat in the Mancunian Suite for the Spuds game and he was sat right behind me. After about 10 mins he leaned forward and started discussing something that I had just shouted. That was it then, we then spent most of the rest of the match just talking about the game and city in general. Just like I would normally do with the people that sit around me in my normal seats in East Stand Level 2.

One thing that did come across, was that he actually knew his football and was just as capable as discussing Man City players and tactics as much as anyone one of us.

During the game he was on the edge of his seat, gabbing in my earhole and going thrugh every emotion like we all were. He was also whinging about the ones leaving with 5 mins to go saying that they shouldn't give up as we were still in the game. At the end of the match, he was absolutely gutted ....... almost in tears.

I might have knocked him in the past, but that night I didn't see Noel Gallager multi millionaire rock superstar ..... all I saw was a mad passionate City fan having his Champions League dreams shattered and having to taste the dissappointment again just like the rest of us.

So did loads of people? You don't like him, fair enough but if that makes him "less of a blue" then there are quite a lot of our fellow City fans who were at Wembley that day who should also be downgraded.
