Mate of mine heard him on the radio (think was a bit back) saying that he would definitely be in teh starting eleven on first day against Spurs. Not the squad, the starting eleven. This was in the context of training and impressing the manager apparently, and he(Bellers) was adamant.
Naturally this doesn't mean he won't be sold, but for me, it epitomises the reason why he shouldn't go at any cost. He has that drive, that angry ambition, something that drags other players to that level and sets a benchmark. He's a proper British player, gritty and determined, and ready to slap a U***d fan on the pitch if need be, and bollock his own players, even in training. These are the sorts of players to provide the balance with all these galactico imports, and confucious say, life and football: all about balance.
I feel it will be a very bad move to get rid of Bellers, and there's no need for that no-kneed argument. When he's fit and flying he's invaluable, and he's a positive character to have in my opinion. Despite his past misdemeanours.

Must have missed it. Sorry for being repetetive; my humble apologies. Surely you don't have to read them though eh? Sorry for being repetetive...
