Inter in Baltimore

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Inter in Baltimore

Postby yankmanc » Thu Jul 15, 2010 2:18 am

I am absolutely psyched at the prospect of finally seeing City in person after riding the roller coaster for the last seven years. My 9 month old daughter has drastically reduced the likelihood of a trip to Manchester any time soon, so this is as close to the real deal as I'll be getting for a while. I rarely see a live game whatsoever and even if City wasn't my team, I couldn't imagine a better preseason matchup than the world champs vs. the someday-(soon?)-to-be world champs. Can't wait!

I bought a ticket in the fan section today and 4.5 out of 5 sections are sold out. Should be a great time and I can't wait to belt out Blue Moon with a few more voices than the couple of friends I've managed to convert locally.

Anybody else going to be there? Any thing I should keep in mind for my first live City game? (songs, etc.) I'd love to get some autographs if anybody has any tips or connections.
Proud to outfit my local league team in Sky Blue.

COME ON CITY!

All I want for my birthday is a derby win.

Yup ... I should be there.

Baltimore is my home after all ... but right after they announced the game, my company moved the date for me to move to Taiwan from August up May/June ... and that's when I put my fist through the bedroom wall.
