Beckham wants to play in the Olympics! He will too, as no one has the balls to stop him. He'll take the place of a young player. I said he'd be at the World Cup when he got crocked & there he was, he'll be at the fucking Olympics too.

I think they should insist on him becoming England manager. Then it's a no lose situation; either he's brilliant at it & we do well or more likely, he'll crash & burn, become a joke figure & we won't have to put up with his fucking face anywhere near the England team ever again.

He wasn’t playing for his club side. I never heard him say I must go to the world cup.

He certainly did not ask to be put on when you need 3 goals as in ten minutes.

He was one of England’s better players at the world cup. Against the USA I thought he was excellent.

It’s not his fault three highly rated managers continued to pick him.
