Cannot believe how anti City they are
They are now running a story on how much profit all the teams whose players we have signed have made
seriously pissing me off now

I referred to it in the kolorov thread. What is the need for them to state Inter are making a 2,000% profit on him?

They are basically saying how much the clubs signed them for (Probably when they were about 12) and how much they have sold them on for despite them turning into world class players...you couldn't make it up...makes me so angry

Surely we're putting loads of money into football then? I bet there are other clubs, where people are taking it out. Let me think...

Settle down chaps... Let them formulate whatever propaganda they like. They're paying us £40 mill a season to do so!

Sky have a love affair with the current top 4 status quo - hence Grand Slam sunday and all that tripe - and as we are about to kick the fuclin doors off their exclusive little party, they probably are in a bit of shock.
If we are looking at profit made on players why didn't they trot out this graphic or angle when Man U paid £30m for Rooney (Everton profit £30m), £30m for Berbatov (Spurs profit in 2 years £20m), £18m for Carrick (Spurs proit in 2 years £12m), £16m for Anderson, £17m for Nani etc etc .... ?
Because they have an agenda against us, as do most of the press in this country. God forbid they print something positive about us. I saw the Guardian article earlier which did not extoll the virtues of Kolarov as a sounght after left-back by Madrid and others, but their angle was rather the new player was "to replace Wayne Bridge" - as though that was a crime! Its also laughable how we are said to be apparently destroying our academy, the same academy - good as it is - that has led us to win precisely fucl all over the past 34 years, and still regularly fields 3-4 players in the first team (SWP, Richards, Onouha, Ireland, Hart).
The press cannot stomach us but they are going to have to get used to it. We aren't going to stop buying players, the Sheikh isn't going to get bored and we will upset the current applecart, whether Sky, the red tops or Platini and his cronies like it or not.

To be fair I really don't mind all this shit. This is to do with other clubs in the premier league, Manchester City have different rules.

not fussed about sky.. in fact all it really does is show that they are pissed off, because they know that with every quality signing we make the closer their beautiful little world of squeeky clean suburban, curtain twitching, plastic lifestyle somewhere in Surrey sugar coated place full of mongs wearing rag tops is about collapse around their ears and cover them in filthy, very difficult to scrub off detritus called.. it is easier to suck up if you genuinely cant think. Otherwise known as Nevilles syndrome.
Unfortunately for sky their whole organisation suffers from it, but then they wouldn't know that would they.

Anyone think our club's owners; executives, or management give a flying fig what Sky or the press think? Anyone think they lose any sleep over it?
If they don't give a monkey's I'm sure I don't need to.

Haha as soon as I saw this topic I thought "what have they done now?, let me see, is it steve 2-currys munching on a pork pie, staving off a heart attack whilst squealing "sir alex knows the value of the market"? or bwian swanson outside the City training ground with reports of fisticuffs between the entire first team squad and david platt(actually not a bad concept, were tickets available?), or that other smug cunt andy whatshisname with his mobile switched on(the one in his cot is switched off) going on about the money and City are throwing the money around cluck cluck cluck money money money money. Yeh, fucking money. Like it or not, its what makes the world go around, has done since about 1870 and ultimately delivers you your fucking salary so stop digging these holes for yourselves all you hypocrites out there and start delivering some journalistic integrity.

Come on mate.. to be fair though, United and Chelsea have never spent big. Also the worlds golden team Real Madrid have only ever won anything by home grown talent and hard work. If they were to spend millions upon millions buying galacticos it would be a sin imagine it?! Its not fair that a little club like ours just suddenly gets unlimited funds and changes the face of football... we're totally ruining the game!
