The thing that amuses me, other than cnuts being pound a penny, is that there are 91 other clubs. Now if players are good enough but aren't getting a look in because of our imports, they will surely hook up with one of ther other clubs and break through to the England team that way?

I was sayin to someone the other day, who was moanin at City buyin imports. I said that we have David Silva and Tevez-I asked him which English players we could get that are of 'simular' qualityI answered it for him by sayin 'Rooney and Lampard???' to which I said it just isnt goin to fookin happen like that. So I asked 'should other clubs then buy players of lesser quality just because they're English?' so we should ditch Tevez and David Silva and get Heskey and Bullard?? To which he had no reply. I went on to say that every club has the right to be the best they can by signing the right players for the job, no matter where they might be from..

That is totally right it's not our fault foreigners are so damn good and us english are shocking. I'd rather have a team of foreigners who would win something than a group of mediocre englishmen.

Two things:

While Capello sifts through the World Cup wreckage, he says he intends to rebuild using youngsters like Adam Johnson, Joe Hart, Kieran Gibbs and Jack Wilshere. And beyond that, who knows?

First two of those play for which club?

And secondly, it's well known that back in 91-92 when the Premier League started there were only 2 foreigners in the English game, and England did ever so well at that summer's tournament in Sweden. Indeed, going back into the eighties, when Englishmen were two a penny in the domestic game we won every international troophy going.

But seriously, other than our coach's last minute goal against Belgium and a pretty decent 45 against Cameroon, England have been pretty shit since 1966. With Englishmen in the league and without. But, then again it's a pretty good new stick to beat us with.
