To buy a season ticket or not - My dilemma

Basically, im torn between whether to buy a season card or not. I've never been able to get one because of work and money, but im in my last year of cheap prices (being 21) so im trying to work out if it would be cheaper for me to buy one, even if I dont make all the games.

1) I work saturdays, and get a few off through holidays. Some of our games SHOULD be moved to sundays / mondays?!
2) my season ticket would be £335
3) What will ticket prices be like? Theres no discounts with the citycard this year (e.g. £5 off first 10 games), i'd estimate a ticket for a 21 year old will be £35? and more for derbies, top 4 games etc. (Last year derby tickets for me and my dad came to something like £90)
4) Limited availability left. All the good stands are sold out
5) they seem to be front rows; which means 1) RAIN and more importantly 2) I like to stand up!!

Many thanks for reading this! Im torn, and trying to work this out. Theres one or two mates thinking about this two. Another problem is that my dad won't be able to go through on my 21 card (?) which means the cost of him upgrading it if i dont go.

thanks for reading,

Nick

19 home games; 14 of those are on saturdays up to now.

NOW i might be wrong, but I dont think ANY of those matches take into consideration the UEFA cup? We have a few sunday/monday matches early on (whereas from december onwards there ALL saturdays). But the sunday games are at times like 13:30 (Newcastle); so surely thats because there on TV?

If we move them due to the cup, they usually go on sunday 3pm and are NOT on TV. Or they may get moved to mondays and ESPN sign them up?

(this is hard work!)

upto now being the operative word.

There are 6 games in the group stage of the Europa league which will automatically move the weekend games to Sunday, and two legs in every subsequent round. Even if we got knocked out at the first knock out stage, you can bank ona minimum of 8 games being moved to a Sunday, plus the ones they move for TV after xmas, which - if we are in with a shout of a decent finish, will be a fair few additional games.

cheers sounds good, My job is a pain in the arse, because even at the moment, I work until 8pm on wednesdays, so I'd need to move that shift, then again, will we play on wednesdays?! with the UEFA being on thursdays?

I'd say that to make a season ticket pay at that price, I'd only need to attend 9 games and I plan on attending alot more. I also want to go to the cup games, so im thinking without a season ticket, i will be spending ££££! this year! But im not working much at the moment, trying to find a full time graduate job this year which may mean I will be forced out of Manchester next year.

I wish I would have sorted this months ago, because I really wanted to be around 110/111.

The dilemma is whether i want crap seats with no atmosphere / people moaning at me to sit down and whether I could move over towards block 111?

I'd go for the season ticket. There'll always be the option of ticket exchange or giving it to a mate.
