I know he's one of the greatest young strikers for a long time, I know it would in theory be a fantastic signing for City & if we sign him I'll support him but: I FUCKING HATE HIM!

He makes my flesh crawl. He's horrible.

He's a slimey, diving, cheat of Ronaldo proportions, he's always whinging at the ref, he's always injured & he's a miserable fucking twat.

I just don't want to have to cheer him every week, I fucking hate him.

Am I alone?

Not especially keen no.

If we're all happy with that miserable fish faced ponce why don't we go the whole hog & put in a bid for Ronaldo once Mourinho gets sick of him not tracking back?

You are right there about his diving and whinging, however I wouldn't mind 20+ goals a season of him as crossan said before. Didn't he score like 22 last season anyway even though he was crocked every two minutes?

He would well fit in at CITEH..............

Yeah but he would be our diving, cheating, moaning cunt who is a cut above of what we have in the forward department apart from Carlos. I'm sure 15 goals before Xmas would ease the pain of having him in blue.

I'm sure he'd be a great signing & score hatfuls when fit, but I'd much rather watch someone else, that I don't want to punch in the face, doing it.

Just like our so called Cuntish Cunt of a Cunt Bellamy, how opinions changed there, eh?

Personally, I don't see him coming here anyway so no real need for me to discuss it, however if he does come to the Sky Blue instead of the Chav Blue, then I'll welcome him with open arms as I would any other player.

Compared to the scenario of Chelsea buying him and us ending up with Deirdre Drogba I'm more than happy to have him. Yeah he's got his faults but what a player when fit

If Torres came to City I think he would be loved along the same lines as Robinho when he first came. You could never say no to a fit Torres, truely world class on his day and not many better than him. But IMO i just cant see it happening.

I'm with you Ted, I cannot possibly justify in my mind cheering for someone that makes the game so much worse. Whenever robinho would dive my skin would just crawl and I cannot possibly defend anyone who does that sort of thing. I wouldn't even want him if he is guarenteed 20+ goals a season. Winning isn't so important that we have to be cheats to do it, and if we won anything due to cheating like that, well its not really winning.

We've definitely become spoilt when we think we can turn our noses up at Fernando Torres!! FFS let's be real here he'd improve pretty much any team in the world, and that's what it's all about surely?? Ade was missing for how many matches last season? The Africa Cup of Nations, banned for 7 matches was it? how many weeks off when he got shot at? Torres, injured for some of the time or not, would be a vast improvement no question.

It would be a massive statement to the whole footballing world!
And to boot it would piss Scouse 1 fans off more than anything because they adore him!

depends on how much of the transfer fee hodgson would get to reinvest.
a big enough transfer fee could rescue Liverpool in one swoop, and i'm not sure i want to do that.

Sports new on Radio 5 just said that we have announced that we've ended our interest in Torres, are looking to sell Robinho and also loan Bellers out. Surprised nobody has picked up on this, particularly the loaning of Bellers, sounds very strange to me.

I wonder who did the announcement, not seen anything yet?

Don't know mate but BBC aint usually prone to be so specific and be wrong.

True, which makes it even stranger.

Didn't they say we'd signed Kolarov when we hadn't though? All seems a bit strange to me too; Mancini says he's happy with Bellamy & interested in signing Torres, BBC says we don't want Torres & are dumping Bellamy. Someone's telling porkies.
