I don’t think any Premiership club would take the risk on all the bad publicity that they would get. He wasn’t a Premiership level player before he got sent to jail anyway.

If he’s smart he will spend a year in League 1 and let all the hype die down. If he can cut the mustard there then he can move up to the Championship.

i don't know the formal definition and can't remember Marlon King's case, so my apologies in advance if he did something particularly brutal. My point tho is that i think in some cases people make too much of a woman being hit by a man. Call me un-old fashioned, but i think in all sincerity i'm a feminist. I've been with some women who i swear could probably give me a good run for my money if we had to go a coupla rounds. Luckily, i'm a lover, not a fighter.

Sort of agree. What if a drunk scally scouse 'woman' goes mental and starts hitting you? What would you do? Honestly? Not protect your neck cos it's supposedly a woman? Fuck that, let's be honest most English 'women' are pretty scary and if one of those gremlins attacked me, I can't honestly say I wouldn't smack it. I hope not, but you never know.
