Twitter says

Staying in Manchester

So that means he's either included in the 25 or off to the rags(Though technically that would be 'Moving to Stretford')!

If he can reproduce the form of that one season then I would be delighted for him to stay, just can't see it happening though.

I think Robinho brought the best out of him that season, if it means Ireland becoming Superman again then bring back Robbie.

Great news. I hope Silva can bring out the best in Ireland. When on form he's deadly, and it would've been a mistake to let him go anyway. Giving him to other prem clubs would've come back to bite us.

Last season was tough. We had Hughes going through a bad spell and then Mancini was racing for the top4 with little time to experiment or try and get out of form players playing well.

Ireland could well turn out to be an important player for us this season. He's going to love playing with guys like Silva, Yaya and Balotelli. I can see him alternating with Tevez a lot too.

Was this on Ireland's Twitter feed? If so, have Twitter authenticated it as being him?

How official? Has it been given the Mark (Blue Army) six stars of authentication?

Wasn't it reported last year that the club had banned the players from using social networking sites?

been saying this for ages. cos its simples.. Yaya, Silva and Ireland will be the best one touch and move players we have.

take any one of the famed Barca players out of the comfort of all their teammates being able to do the same thing and they will look half the players they are. Players like Ireland need others to play with who are on that tack because they play a true team game. Ireland is part of the future and the more players we have that can pass properly and fast whilst moving around will make Stevie look better and better.

To be totally honest of my opinion, i think that if we want to be better than say Barca then Stevie Ireland is one of the ways we could be. He has a range of passing and techniques for squeezing a pass out of nowhere that is better imo, far better than both Xavi and Iniesta, he is more unpredictable and creative than the two of them put together.

In fact it was only a few months ago!

RAGS cant afford him. Dippers cant afford him. Cant move his fish tank elsewhere.

When I counted out my squad he still sneaked in there, and I had also included Milner.

Still got room for him.

Look at some of the other tweets he has made. I say no way it's really him.
