haha class....good on you Leo....you can come next summer if you like
LIONEL Messi believes Sir Alex Ferguson regrets letting his Argentina team-mate Carlos Tevez move to Manchester City, who he believes are now only two world-class defenders away from winning the Premier League title.
He said: “I am sure United and Ferguson regret letting Carlitos go, and if they had shown him more respect he would still be there.
“It was never about money for Carlitos – it was about respect and needing to feel wanted. And the truth is United made him feel unwanted while City have done everything they could do to make him feel wanted. It doesn’t matter how good you are or how much money you earn, it’s a basic human emotion to want to feel loved.
“I thought it would take City years to win the title, but looking at the players they now have I think they can do it, and Carlitos’ goals can fire them above Chelsea and United. When you look at Carlitos, Yaya Toure, David Silva and all the others you need to start taking them seriously.
“They have a great squad, a great manager and are probably two world-class defenders away from winning the title. Carlitos can be the most feared striker in Europe next year along with David Villa, and I expect him to score 30 league goals.”
Messi describes midfield anchorman Toure as ‘a beast’ and has tipped him to fully justify the £27million fee Manchester City paid to Barcelona this summer.
“It doesn’t matter who else City sign they will not get a better signing than Yaya. He is an absolute beast of a player and will dominate games for City. If City do end up winning the title this season, this will be the signing that does it for them.”
Of Argentina team-mate Javier Mascherano, Messi said: “I think I upset Rafa Benitez when he was Liverpool manager by saying I wanted Javier at Barcelona. But it looks like Benitez is going to sign him again at Inter Milan. As soon as Rafa had gone Javier made up his mind that he would never play for Liverpool again.

(But Kalou says different & who can doubt the word of Kalou?)
Wonder what City's defenders think reading that? I bet they're thinking " nah he doesn't mean me.....er......does he?"

Well Boateng featured in Argentina's German dismantling (albeit only for part of the game) and wasn't taken to the cleaners by any of the Argentinians so I would say he is safe..
the rest of them....hmmmm

Well said that man (Messi) - hope it is obvious to Bob - David Luiz does it for me - so long as Boateng is confirmed as 1st choice RB - else Maicon as well please
..cor what a time to be a CITY fan

RB is interesting isn't it
I have a sneaky suspicion that Mancini thinks Micah has potential.....interesting to see where Boateng plays; RB or centre half

It is - I have to admit that I have a closed mind - I am so down on Micah that I would not give him a chance this year no matter what potential he shows / showed in pre-season - we can simply not afford such a liability in a key area
Thankfully the only noteworthy pre-season cameos have been more mistakes - and occasional short bursts of effort -so surely Bob must have had his curiosity satisfied

I'm of the same opinion...i've never known a player cut such slack aside from Boj!
...Micah has apparently been 'showing potential' for some years now

this is a bit of a long shot and full of very large IFs, but if we get our act together and get where we want to be AND play a type of football that is genuinely more interesting than Barca ( by being more mixed up in the final 3rd ) it could attract Messi if he starts to see the limitations of Barca's style of play and system or he just wants at some point to try his feet in the Prem.
Manchester would have to open a world class Argentine Steak house though as that is where he spends most of his time noshin.
