Just curious, if we really do make the CL this season or win Europe. What kind of excuses will they
have for us??

Watched it right up until they started talking about us then turned it off before Woolnough finished his sentance. It was going something like this : On to Manchester City now who have been throwing money at anything that mov.....

Even worse : If we win fuck all, fail to mount a really serious challenge for the title, they will feel vindicated - I detest the slimy bunch of tossers.

In the main they were pretty negative about us although one of them said if mancini can get it right we could be a tour de force no less. But then none of them thought he could and that he'd be sacked before the clocks go back.

“Don't worry about the horse being blind, just load the wagon.”
-John Madden
he also said.....
"When you win a championship they stop making fun of you."
Good advice for City fans.

That old chestnut "where is everyone going to play?" and then that other chestnut "they've got all these midfielders" and the other chestnut "Bellamy WANTS to play for tottenham" So your his best mate then, cunt?....hahha "all these midfielders" and didnt mention Yaya and Silva. One joker said he was "kind of sad" that players like Ned and Richards might find themselves out in the cold. Bless him, he's sad about it....thats our fault as well, and we're"distorting the wage market". I'm sure all these twats will be prepared to look complete and utter hypocrites as and when liverpool get taken over. Look at it this way, putting 2+2 together and making five, linking the chinese government to this kenny huang fella and suddenly liverpool "can get back where they belong", doesnt seem at all hypocritical does it? money from a (like it or not) miltary junta disguised as capitalist venture is ok for them but for us, money from the black stuff that (like it or not) we all use in our daily lives isn't and is somehow wrong. Its a combination of arab money/Manchester City....its the wrong combination....chinese money/liverpool the right combination.
At least woolnowt said he got slaughtered by the fans after his article. Rightly so, because it was a very poor one.

Yep, bring it on. Cunts like woolnough can then either shut up or look like even bigger sacks of shit.

Must admit it's like watching a pre-advertised live plane crash. You know it's going to be horrendous but still have to watch.

You should have stuck it out mate, if you don't take em serious it's pretty funny. Clueless, the lot of em who were on today.

They - the pundits - seem to be trotting out the line that Bobby will struggle to keep all those players happy. They NEVER say the same thing about other teams. How will fergie keep Berbatov, Owen, Fernadez and Rooney happy? They can't all play. What goes for us goes for all.
Lazy thinking all round. (Mind you, read the articles on the economy from two or three years ago you had similar thinking then)

I know, it winds me up, though. I could just tell from the way that Woolnough introduced the section on us what the tone was going to be and I don't want to hear it.
Can't remember his name but the one who kept calling Terry "JT" (it's ok, we know you're close to John Terry, you've told us many times) is an absolute Berk and is so anti anything but Chelsea it's not true.

Funny thing is he was the only one who added an "if they get it right" to his dronings. I caught the back of the summarising of the game today on sky, and andy gray, at last, said what they all must be thinking, deep down. Man for man City has the strongest squad in the league. He said that, and he didnt shrivel up like the wicked witch from oz when he'd finished speaking. Its a fact. What is unknown is how City line-up and how they'll fare, but thats the same for most teams. There is no scattergun approach as far as I can see and all the players have a brain they must realise they wont play every game. Why cant these silly people see this? Sunday supplement one day might just show City in a decent light, with a bit of journalistic balance thrown in. I will savour it when it happens.

Everyone hates us. So why do I love us so much? We should make a cheeky ad campaign with our players saying "everyone hates us. So why do u love us so much?"
It's the siege mentality that will afford us the focus to win something.
Cheers

Nearly choked on my cornflakes. Singing our praises big time. Saying Mancini is on par with Fergie, Mario is a genious and so on and so on. They also seem to think we will win the league next year.

Did you notice the little comment from Samuel about City doing the debt thing the right way, saying by putting it into equity rather than debt like Portsmouth. Seems to have changed his tune and I think we are at the tipping point with these fuckers, soon we'll be the media darlings who can do no wrong.

I always thought Samuel was good anyway. He's wrote some good stuff about us, it's the others who write for shit like the mirror (holt) etc that are "haters"

Samuels been fairly balanced over the last 12 months. Holt was blowing hughes off and thats his only problem with us I think. Hes written some fair stuff re the squad. The rest are cocks.

Spot on.
Samuel has always come across to me as pro City ....... or, at the very least, balanced.
