Vieira & Mancini

What is the deal with them? Definitely something dodgy going on. They are either bumboys or Vieira is blackmailing Mancini.
Can't believe the old fake birth certificate man is getting in the 25 while we're trying to get rid of Ireland and Bellamy.

There is no way he should make the 25, particularly if we get Milner.

I think they are lovers.... I cannot see any other explanation.

I am certain Vieira will be part of the 25 man squad, when in fact his contract should have never been extended to begin with because he is just not good enough anymore.

It makes me sick to think that we will practically waste a spot in the 25 man squad for Grandad Vieira and a player who actually still has a lot to offer (albeit should have kept his gobby mouth shut) like Bellamy appears to be frozen out and a player like Ireland is used to get Milner....

That's bollocks mate. I was happy with his appointment, especially after all the in-house 'experts' told me he was an attack-minded manager. His dull tactics took away some of the enjoyment. That is all. Nothing snidy. You are the one avoiding the question here. Didn't know it was a crime to dare criticise our manager, certainly happened enough in the past.

What question? Are Vieira and Mancini having a homosexual relationship? Both being married, I find that hard to believe but you never know.

I don't think Vieira (or Mancini for that matter) has much to do with Ireland and Bellamy being pimped around.

really? this I have to hear

please tell us how the manager of the club has not much to do with Ireland and Bellamy being potentially on the cusp of being disposed of

did he not maybe make the rather key decision to say "no...I don't want them....get rid"

The question: what the fuck is the deal with them?
Or do you think Vieria warrants a place in our squad? And I do think Vieria & Mancini have got quite a bit to do with the possible departure of Ireland & Bellamy. Vieira is taking up a place in our squad of 25, this means there's less place for Ireland & Bellamy (especially Ireland, seeing as they're both central midfielders). Mancini picks those 25. Simples.

Come to think of it, I'm quite shocked that Mancio isn't getting any stick for what's happening with the players, why all of a sudden are people just accepting what he is doing and somehow trying to place the blame on Marwood and Cook?

Is it Marwood or Cook who haven't spoke to Bellers for 6 month and are we led to believe that Mancio has no control of who he wants to get rid of?

He seems to be jettisoning a few of our Academy players with not much said?

He plays the likes of Vieira over younger and fitter players, even when you can plainly see that his legs have gone?

He got his hair cut - what the fuck!

In a way, I suppose he is not Hughes but I'm certain that if it were, there would be outrage all over this board and with City fans in general.

What is the deal with them? I think Vieira is senior figure he trusts and uses him as his spoke person among the players. Also, Vieira has brought him few Scudetto's so that must have something to do with it as well.

There's room for both as they fill the homegrown quota. They are in 8 player group, not the 17 player group. Vieira is taking a place from RSC which suits me just fine.

Mancini likes Vieira and doesn't much care for Bellers I assume.

If Mancini wanted Bellamy he would find room for him in the 25. Presenting it as a straight choice between the two is bollocks and lazy thinking. If Paddy had left this summer Bellamy still wouldn't be in the 25.

Mancini (or whoever) seemingly don't want Bellamy involved so deal with it and move on.

Laff. Nice. I bet he has superhairy balls so be careful what you wish for.

Antti just FYI Im bored btw with the "suits are destroying our team by chasing players off" bollox. I don't believe it.

Also the only way for patrick to make our squad is to play well enough IMHO. I believe that mancini is running a roman-style meritocracy. And no i don't think Ned was going to merit a place in our defensive setup. And perhaps Ireland wasn't in our midfield. Bellamy i think is hedging his bets in case he isn't. I'm not convinced that Bellers isn't in the 25.

Good qualities. Sadly, he no longer adds anything ON THE PITCH!
He'd be ideal in some kind of coaching role. We really lacked creativity in midfield last season. So why are we getting rid of Ireland and keeping Vieira?

We'll have to wait for few years for Bellamy's memoirs to come out at ripe old age of 34. I'm sure "everything will be revealed". He will not "pull any punches". And it's yours for £17.99 (paperback £9.99).

Possibly on Bellamy. Although I think going on TV and moaning about it isn't so much hedging his bets but pouring petrol on them and flicking a lighted match into the middle.

Ned was never going to make the grade and sadly neither was Ireland although the lad tried. Its a shame about Ireland but there you go.

Mancini hasn't actually dumped Bellamy & kept Vieira yet, he may not do, so there's no point in doing a Hughes style unfair slagging of him for something he hasn't yet done (especially as he doesn't get remotely criticised for doing any of the other things Hughes got absolutely slaughtered for!).

If he does though, he 'll be letting personal likes & dislikes get in the way of what's best for the football club & I'll be less inclined to support him if he hit's a bad spell because he will have weakened the squad.
