Until Villa scored their 2nd goal about 60 seconds ago Blackpool were top of the league!

Got a feeling our televised trip to Blackpool will be tricky - that's why they're televising it of course.

Dressing room like a pantry, one cold shower between 14. Up and at 'em team. Etc

Anyone getting a bet on Martinez for the first sacking?

Great start for Blackpool. Good luck to them.
Just hope their manager doesn't shit on them and jump ship as soon as a 'bigger club' comes in for him.

**cough, cough, Owen, cunt, cough, Coyle**

i knew wigan would be bad this season esp after losing scharner and bramble but this is terrible. I will be surprised if they dont go down along with blackpool...

Scharner might have looked like he'd rolled in off the eurotrash circuit but he was a very decent player for them.

Hope they enjoy today, they deserve it. Wont happen again.

Chairman and manager both know exactly what they have to do.

Play football the right way, set up with a chance of winning, expect regular pastings, the odd win, go down, parachute payment, come back up and then try and make more of a go of it.

No point at all in trying to buy 3 or 4 old rejects on £50k a week, Blackpool are just not in that league at all, barely even in the Championship as far as wages are concerned. They should stick to their principals, enjoy this season and put it down to an experience. Have some fun on the way.

I had Martinez and Houghton neck and neck as first Prem Manager to go, Roberto had just sailed in to the lead.

Well done Blackpool.

Just watching MoTD - Blackpool were unlucky to only get 4 goals.
