that's exactly what we have to do. Prove it on the pitch.

I am afraid at least today he was right. We do look like a team full of strangers with no clue at the moment.

He said we'd introduced 5 new players and this wouldn't work and wasn't the right way to go about things.

The fuckin idiot can't count then!
The only new players on the park were Kolorov(played half a game and replaced by Zabba) YaYa and Silva!
He's a negative, fully paid up member of the hate City brigade!
Beating scouse1 will piss him off even more! Hate the cunt!

I don't know what he said but I watched the match live & thought we were an absolute shambles with some great individual performances from some of the established players plus a half decent one from Yaya. Don't know how anyone can suggest different.

We got out of there alive though & we'll get much much better.

it was the way he was saying it. he was almost mocking us and took delight in saying we were a million miles away from winning anything and how we havent gelled . i have it off the red cunts all night at work going on about how we spent all that money and cant even beat spurs blah blah blah. fuck me , this team has played 1 competetive game and got a point which 6 previous city teams have failed to do. no it wasnt good in the 1st half but as the game went i thought we started getting better

Well if he was taking the piss then he's a knob. As Hoddle said, at this point in time, with our crappy pre season, that was a bonus point. We'll only get better & Hanson should know that.

It is clearly going to take a little time for the players to not only get back up to speed with the Premier league but also to get to know each other. Spurs made 1 change from the team that beat us last year we had 5 changes. Our players have not had a proper pre-season so yes we were off today. We gave the ball away far too easily in the first half so invited Spurs on to us. In the 2nd we kept the ball much better and so the game was more even.

The thought that a new team with players new to the premiership were to go away from home to a good settled side like Spurs and completely dominate were kidding themselves. We are a work in progress which will take a month or so to find their feet and for Mancini to find the best balance but the signs were positive towards the end.

Hart is an outstanding prospect and had a great game. Silva looks like the ball is glued to his feet but struggled with the pace. Yaya looks a great player but he too looked a little off pace De Jong was De Jong, Kolo and Vinnie looked good Tevez had a lot of the play. SWP didnt have his best game nor did Micah and Kolarov didnt have much chance to shine.

But Spurs were home arent a bad side and we got a point which we have failed to get for many years so lets not get too gloomy in here heh

Hanson was right on 1 point, we DO GET every1 behind the ball at corners,it isn't rocket science, if the ball gets cleared 25-35 yds out, it will come stright back into the pen area. we need to get at least 3 players out of box to get ball if cleared.

If City were a shamblers how come no one in the media including marylin manson has pointed out how worrying it is that a spuds side that has been together for 3 seasons didn`t manage to beat a City side which was a "shambles" that had "5 new players thrown on" which you "just can`t do".. Just asking like...

Well what did he or anyone else expect? The reason we looked like a team of strangers for the first 45 was largely because thats exactly what they were to each other - strangers! It may have only been 3 new players in the starting 11, but how we link everything up as a team is going to be difficult based on the little time they've been able to have together in training.

Ok Backpool were also a team of strangers based on the fact that 5 players came in this week, but they played a team who simply didn't turn up whilst we were at Spurs (a top 4 side from last season) who came out of the traps firing on all cylinders.

Our 'strangers' coped with Spurs defensivley. Hart ws outstanding as we know, but Kompany and Toure also played a major part. And as the game went on our strangers bagan to get a better understanding to an extent where we began to nulify the threat and have a much larger share of posession.

I think the 'strangers' had got to know each other a lot better by the end of the game. Last season we would have crumbled, this season we didn't that has to bode well for me.

Let the likes of Hansen and co slag us of I couldn't give a flyin' fook, we all no what a bunch of twats they are so what does it matter really? I don't agree that we were lucky not to have conceded, the fact that Hart made so many good saves reflects on our defensive ability - don't forget he is part of our defense and defending is as big a part of the game as the midfield or strikers (passing and shooting). Taking our defending on board then it's difficult to recall too many momnets where lady luck saved us....Bale hitting the post but few others.

We were lucky not to concede but it was only to be expected. We were a right fucking mess 1st half. if anyone saw Mancini's interview, he'd lost his voice through shouting! He wasn't fucking singing 'Blue Moon'! We fought for a point though & the central defenders & keeper showed real passion rather than just accepting we were going to get hammered. That's the part of our team we were most worried about & they came through with flying colours. It was a huge bonus. Now we can start to build.

If the CB's & keeper are going to play like that, with DeJong in front, all Mancini has to do is get a team to gel out of the collection of fantastic talent he has to go with them. I can't imagine for one second that he can't do that.

They couldn't even get our formation right (or it didn't fit with their agenda) - they totally failed to mention we were lined up as 4-3-3 for the first half against their 4-4-2 meaning we were continually swamped down the wings with Bale almost running riot and Kolorov doing a decent job against Lennon despite carrying an injury.

We coped down our left I think it`s our right hand side that needs addressing (Milner & Boateng) and we`re done.

by coped you mean with last ditch tackles/blocked crosses in our first third when they shouldn't have been having so much penetration which is why I used the term swamped (and this was addressed by changing us to a 4-4-2 giving us more width and doubling up on their wingers). Elsewhere I mentioned Kolorov didn't get enough praise for his performance yesterday against Lennon and I look forward to seeing him in action this season.

It's not what Hanson says, it's the way he says it! He is such a venimous fuck when he talks about us that he makes me want to smash the screen. Take yesterday for example, he said we'd spent hoards of money, got 5 players and just through them into the team. Well Mr Hanson, that is just down-right lying, there were only 3 new players in the team and only Silva had limited playing time but we needed him on the pitch. He uses these little statements to fuel the hatred from other fans and although we can say he's a useless twat, those other fans like to take statements like that onboard.

I'm just hoping that Arsenal kick their arses today and that come the end of the season, Liverpool are well out of the running for the Champions League. That way, there will be no need for the likes of Hanson and Lawro to be on the show; their time is running out!
