RAG: City is really deluded if they think they gonna win trophies by collecting random big names around the world and dragging them to eastland's for those ridiculous prices. Does that sound like a team to me, hell no! I just don't get where they are going with this, i mean sure some of the names they managed to pull were impressive but where is this all leading to. Have they got an actual strategy or game plan to back this all up. There is no point putting a team together if you don't know what you are gonna do with them. Mancini can get this lot somewhere in 3-4 years if they continue to play together and form some sort of connection and natural flow most big teams have. If he manages to build "family"with genuine team spirit out of this lot, then yes they might be in with a shot of some silverware. But as we all know, you cannot buy tittles. I understand some of them have admitted that what they are doing is a long term project which holds some value and can be understood, but at the moment they are still a long way behind 'the real deal' of Manchester.

As for the spurs game, Hart was unbelievable to keep a clean sheet for them as tottenham was really up for it and looked lively to grab a win but unlucky in the end to be denied. They will still remain a bigger threat for the top positions this season rather than city, which will in my opinion still finish just bellow the top 4.

not too far off a fair analysis actually ... although riddled with bias bullshit opinions and phrases.

We did, in fact, look like a group of talented individuals who had yet to gel as a team. I do not think it will take years though. We will make a mark this year, 3rd or 4th place ... and from there we will spring board. It does not take professional, talented footballers 3-4 years to form bonds and play styles, that is a stupid opinion. It does take some time however.

What is never mentioned in our tie with spurs is that we had near 60% possession in that game. We could not find a final ball, and often times large amounts of possession were ended by a misplaced pass or miscommunication that ended in a spurs quick attack ... that we held off (thanks to Joe and our CB's).

They even showed the possession% on screen on my stream, the title bar came up first said "possession" and the announcer noted that it had been a more even contest in the second half, city weren't being bombarded (this was 10 minutes in to 2nd half maybe?) and then the numbers for possession came up ant it was like 63% to 38% or something like that ... heard a little skip in the commentators voice and then he moved on to a different topic.

Most of the rags are printed in London and that's where most of the sports 'pundits' are based. Last week Mick Dennis in the Express was suggesting that we'd leave Joe Hart on the bench all season and ruin England's chances of having an in-form top notch keeper. This week he's panning us for 'negative, spoiling tactics' at the Spuds match. I'm not suggesting he's biased against us though - and if you believe that, you'd believe you can plait fog.
If you can keep your head when all around you are losing theirs, it's just possible that you haven't really grasped the gravity of the situation.
