Online ticket sales

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Online ticket sales

Postby john@staustell » Fri Aug 20, 2010 8:34 am

So as the days turn into weeks and the weeks to months, the word is:

"We are working with our partners to resolve a technical issue and the site will be reinstated as soon as possible.

We apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause"

http://www.mcfc.co.uk/Tickets

Not that the system ever worked properly to begin with.

How hard can it be? Why dont we change 'partners'? How can our management allow this constant failure of the ticket system?

It's just about the one 'typical City' thing left from the old days.

I said it on another thread, no amount of time and money will ever change the fact that in some key issues we are like fucking Conference Club.

I mean how fucking hard is it to run Internet based ticket sales system in year 2010? I know few people who can get it up and working in matter of hours if you are interested, Sheik.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

I have a feeling it will improve after this, the club must be embarrassed. Someone somewhere will be getting a severe bollocking from someone who is also receiving a severe bollocking from someone else.

I've just logged on to check out tickets for Thursday. Any idea how much the tickets are?

i really think that this is a ploy to get people to ring in to the club and then they get another £2 for the ticket.

I really feel that the club concentrate on the wrong things, fucking heated seats my arse, how about sorting out the basics before wasting so much time and money on the corporate cunts.

How about getting a few more bar staff too.

And that's exactly what I told them when I bought my Blackburn tickets, £2 fee per ticket is a disgrace

it's even more outrageous because you can't NOT ring them up to buy them...i was shocked when they told me they wouldn't drop the fee because the site is down. really poor service.
