it's fantastic. De Jong has become a semi-legend to "soccer" fans in America after the WC because of his heroics. Of course the other half of fandom in the US who follows football thought he was a complete thug and an embarrassment to the game, but i tend to view it on a more positive level.
Sad news about Scouse...i was really hoping they were going to find a billionaire owner to really compete more in terms of funds and development. Watch them fuclin with the league this season now on the back of that news. Though unlikely, stranger things have happened.

for his investment in Liverpool. There are two kinds of owners, ones who invest in
a business and ones who treat there club like a toy. Tom Hicks in one of the latter kind.
