They will..only if England start the qualifiers badly. It will be because there are too many money grabbing City mercenaries in the squad

It's great to see u have a core of English players starting, which can be held up to a rabid media. However this will obviously change from game to game.

However, and I was going to mention this in a different thread...I thought lescott did well in parts last night, but is it just me who thinks he's lost a yard of pace since this Hamstring injury? At times when he was trying to start sprinting he was positively pedestrian.

In the first half, I was surprised how quickly N'dubz gained on him to the ball in a foot race over to the left hand corner flag. He looked like he was standing still in comparison, but started sufficiently ahead to just get there first.
