I'm trying, but finding it really hard to think like a follower of a team gunning for the title. I still find myself hoping that Chelski and Arse win just so that manyoo have some stiff competition in the run in.

Am I on my own with this one?

My mind is well and truly tuned into the new era at City. I am hoping the scum, chelski, Arse & Spuds all lose every week.

Thankfully those days are over.Have been for a long time.
Like soul of the club.We are on a different part of the journey now.

Seriously, actually I agree with the Scum Arse and Spuds bit (Villa and l'pool too) but I still find myself wanting Chelski to win though.

I might have tuned into the possibility that we may get 4th with third a possibility ..... but still see Chelski as the only ones that will threaten a manyoo title and thus still finding myself wanting them to win.

Anyway ..... maybe when it cones to January and we are 10 points clear at Christmas ..... I might see things differently.

Can't say I've been worried about relegation since Thaksin and Sven. However, I got so giddy that season when we were still top four at Christmas that when things turned sour....my relentless optimism took a fatal blow.

Now I try to keep my feet on the ground and hope for the best. I get excited every season and every season I get deflated. Tis the way of City.

Ask me again at Easter.
