Fergie last night???

Postby M147WN » Tue Aug 24, 2010 9:39 pm

I couldn't be there last night as I work down in the smoke through the week but watching the match, and th pre match telly, it started to make me wonder why fergi had turned up?? who, in particular was he watching? .. was he watching us in general? or a particular player? ...was he watching a dippers player?

Thought about this most of the day and nothing sems to stack up?
ok, maybe he was watching us as he sees us, reluctantly, as credible rivals? Can't blame him for doing his homework but this is a team just getting to know each other, what would he learn from a team just starting to gel?
Te game was televised, why did he need to be there? ..could have sat there shiting is pants in fergie towers without bringing his filthy ass to sit amongs us? ..and who the fuck allowed the cunt in????

Loath him or loath him he's usually pretty savvy............So any angles on this chaps as it doesn't make any sense to me?

Yeah i was thinking he wanted to see how we would play against a strong team. Hopefully he will keep his mouth shut now.

Doing his homework on Yaya probably, and seeing how we lined up at home.

Obviously there to try and tap-up the Sheikh, followed by a quick interview on how the 'Noisy Neighbours' won't gel and beat their Derby rivals (Fail). Oh, and the free whiskey and wine in the Directors Suite.

Was that Peter Reid sat next to him? Thought he was in Plymouth - maybe he hoped to tempt Tevez down to Devon.

Well - whilst that is surely the reason - I prefer he heard there were free drinks - btw why is he referred to on a CITY forum by an appellation that is bestowed on him by the sycophantic media - remember who we are guys - scum is acceptable for them (or similar) purple nosed cunt for him (or similar)

As I vaguely follow Argyle down this neck of the woods, I would've thought their fans are more concerned with how HE has time to go to Manchester, especially after an undistinguished start to the season..

While playing footie on Sunday a mate of mine said Fergie was interested in Zabaleta, don't know where my mate got this from especially as this was over here. As much of a cunt as Fergie is he's pretty shrewed so fuck knows why he would be looking at Zabaleta.

There is a huge difference between watching footy on the telly and being there in person, even when you just focus on the scouting. The TV only ever follows the ball so misses out on alot of the action. For example alot of times when Richards had the ball played in front or behind him he hadn't continued his run, the camera would've missed this check until the ball was played in his area. One crucial point a scout can pick up on are players who switch off when they are not involved in play, Richards was caught once or twice (luckily upfield not at the back) but the TV would miss the off the ball movement.

I can't imagine Mancini selling any player from that starting 11 to THEM or amy that were om the bench. Why make yourself weaker and a major opponent stronger? We certainly don't need the cash! ; )

Of the ball movement may not be picked up by the camera as it is not the major thing that is happening in the game. And when Micah appears in our half after being seen upfield one can assume he didn't use a magic carpet to get back.So his of the ball movement can be assumed to have taken place. And they show it if it has any bearing on the play.
There's also the stuff that the pissed up human eye like baconface is bound to miss so all this stuff that the cameras miss so much is so dated in the 21st centuary it beggars belief.
Howard Webb has just been on the Beeb saying if he had seen what the camera's saw instantly our kung fu master would have seen red.So a man on the pitch cant see as much as the camera's nevermind some excitable fan quite a few yards away.
