On The Liverpool Win...

RAG: It's going to be great when it all comes crashing down and the sheikh gets bored and finds something else to spend his money on.

You gloat in defeating a club that's on the slide, a club that has been built up over many years on playing good football, increasing their fan base around the world. Then a fella with a load of money comes along and spends £350m over a couple of seasons and you think that is equal to what Liverpool, United and Arsenal have done over many decades.

You are now the most hated club in the country for all the wrong reasons.

2 things for that post

1) You can only beat whats put infront of you.

2) It only took United, Arsenel, and Liverpool years to build top quality squads because they couldnt afford to do it any quicker.

Strange, £350 million of non-debt spent in 2 years is still less than half the amount they owe?

Agree. People should point out the investment they're making off the pitch around Eastlands. A billion quid on the surrounding area. If only the City hating press would actually report it and educate some of these half-wits.

Anyway, Good To know they found another Gem Eurosport - Wed, 25 Aug 12:32:00 2010
Bebe can't make reserve team
Sir Alex Ferguson's new £7m signing Bebe has made so little an impact in training at Manchester U****d he was not even considered for a reserve team match.
Having failed to impress at the club's Carrington base, the new £7 million summer signing was omitted from the reserves' line-up against neighbours Manchester City on Tuesday.
The 20-year-old, whose signing for U****d was hailed as a fairytale two weeks ago, was a virtual unknown before Ferguson took a punt on him.

Ferguson later admitted he had not even seen Bebe play - nor watched a video of him - but was still willing to take a chance on him after the recommendations of U****d scouts and his former assistant at Old Trafford Carlos Queiroz.

A deal was pushed through quickly with clubs such as Real Madrid and Benfica also circling with intent, and Ferguson later claimed that "sometimes you just have to go with instinct".
