Happy, for the City players, but that's a rubbish squad in depth.

I like watching the national team play, but I really wished they'd wait for a few more weeks before starting international games. The season's only just begun.

To top off a pathetic day for us our own website appears to have forgotten Milner is now a City player, reporting a "quintet" of players called up. Jesus, can we get anything right?

They'll probably represent a higher proportion of the matchday squad. That 6 could also have Bridge and Richards added to it.

topical and timely. who do you think has the biggest shaft from that list? i'd imagine Rooney has a tiny little pecker. Defoe might be my dark horse candidate to flop out 10 surprising inches of man meat. Joe Hart might surprise for a white kid.

cheers

Insane that there is ANOTHER international this weekend. I wish City would wise up and get their players to report in injured for these pointless Internationals so early in the season.

It's the qualification for the Euro 2012 tournament. Hardly pointless, innit?

Anyone surprised that Shaunie has been recalled. I thought that after the WC he would be out of Capello's plans.
I guess Cap liked the goal he scored against Timo.

Lennon was not called up !!
