Hotel recommendations anyone?

I'm hoping to bring a group of laaaads to share the 12 hour drive so will prob stay 3 nights so it needs easy access to bars, the stadium and a brothel for my dwarf Scottish mate,.....

I hear there is a bar called roosters which is polish for hooters?

No idea if anyone is still looking for a flight, but I happened to notice 'Wizz Air' fly from Doncaster/Sheffield direct to Poznan - looks like it's a Romanian budget airline.

poznan is a modern and nice looking city. there are 2 big clubs in the city - lech and warta. warta is older and former champion as well but lech totally dominated poznan and effectively, they are one of the biggest clubs in poland now and current champion. there are no wars in the city between lech and warta, as many lech fans support the other team.
public transport is well organised. mind that poznan was under german rules for a very long time so experience will be quite good i think. not sure about hotels but i am confident it will not be a problem to find cheap and comfortable place to stay.

if they play on their newly refurbished and modernised stadion on bulgarska street, you can expect devoted support, 90 minutes of singing and stunning ultras presentations.

i am afraid there might be some idiots trying to revive old and infamous polish-english hooligans wars, but if you go there to watch football, you should be ok.

avoid grunwald and jezyce districts.

p.s. lech fans in torino:

Looks like picadilly gardens might have its hands full come November ;-)

Never mind the Poles from Poland! There are enough Poles living in Manchester to guarantee them a good representation at Coms.

In fact, I'm surprised they haven't been on here yet giving it large. I remember when we played Groclin, there were dozens of them that almost took over this board telling us how they were going to 'Murder' us ..... on and off the pitch.

Bunch of nutters!

By the looks of them they are going to enjoy Manchester, especially Canal Street.
