Not sure why it is laughable? Two world class players who don't get the acclaim they deserved because they are quiet private people.

Scholes is the greatest player the rags have ever had IMO.

I still reckon ( a biased view no doubt) he is THE best player I have ever seen.

Not really sure your view is much to do with blue tinted specs. He's definitely the best footballer I've ever seen. If you take individual skills on a scale of 1 to 10 he was 8 or 9 on all of them. Theres been a lot of players better at one aspect but to have the all round footballing skill and ability that he had, along with his phenomenal stamina (10/10 for that) puts him a class of his own in my view.
