The biggest embarrassment is that the most conspicuous (sp?) areas of empty seats were the vast swathe in the directors area, along with many many empty boxes. That highlights the large amount of work which Cook et al still have to do.
Having said that, Blackburn is perhaps one of THE least attractive fixtures in the calendar, not only because of the dearth of football usually on display, but when they never turn up with more than a handful of fans, the atmosphere is always shite too. If I had to choose 16 games to go to, Blackburn would be one I would give a miss.
