Valdes is a fantastic signing and was one of the stars of the WC for me - 2 goal debut - I would have taken a punt for City tbh - great link up between mids and strikers

Ended Cesana 2 Milan 0
Robinho replaced a pretty poor Ronaldinho after 57 minutes and proceeded to give a .........
Hmm, how can I put this kindly?
Well ...... erm ..... some of his more awful performances in away games for City were actually better than his anonymous effort for Milan tonight.

It was Guardiola's tactics and playing negative controlled football that was the problem.

I understand the weather is poor in Milan in the winter. And his coach doesn't understand him. And he doesn't want to defend. And............................................................

Out of their attack only Ibrahimovic & occasionally Pato seemed to do anything in th highlights I saw. Some of Ibra's touches were sublime tbf & exactly what we missed v Blackburn but I wonder how many away games they'll win, with a choice of Ibra, Robinho, Pato & Ronaldinho? There'll be some very tired midfield players by Christmas.

Actually John his one (yes one) proper contribution was to make a tackle - shocking but true.
