Mancini has 8 games! (Warning this will piss you off)

Postby Curlie » Sun Sep 19, 2010 9:34 am

I normally skip the threads when everyone gets their knickers in a twist about that programme on a Sunday morning, were journalists sit in court and batter City.
Made a mistake this morning and watched it. Some well informed individual says Mancini has lost the changing room, everyone in the changing room is scratching each others eyes out, none of the players understand they are now in a squad, City are spend spend spend to beat the UEFA spending rules with no real plan on the team's needs and Mancini has 8 games left to sort the lot out.
What a load of bullshit!
I'll not watch that again!
City are coming to get you!

Yawwwwwn!

We just need to worry about today, we absolutely HAVE TO WIN, I know its early season but we dont want to be playing catch up all season, we need to be up there from the start.

top 3 is very likely to be Chelsea, Scum, Arse.

Direct competition for 4th is us and Spurs and probably a suprise package. We have to stay in touch.

As to the OP, you said it yourself, dont watch it.

As for the need to win, yes we probably do. But we are steadily improving and we have to see the cock-ups of the last 2 prem games as having our 'blip' early. We are getting up to speed and looking sharper so we have to look to keep improving and staying consistent. It is doubtful that all the other teams will not have a sticky patch and we will catch up if we fulfill our potential and get on a run. There are very good signs and we should chill out and let it happen, no need for all this wobbling and impatience.

I would think that there is probably a fragment of truth in some of that....albeit sensationalised and exaggerated beyond reality for media effect.

It would be ludicrous to suggest or expect that such a new squad could have forged close bonds so quickly, with so many new players. To quote Mancini..."Eees normaaarl". It takes time to build new personal relationships and make friendships. That's why it takes to time to build teams...."Eeees normaaarl!"

I suppose it gives the media hacks something to gossip about while they're getting pissed together.

The SS never changes, these are the guy's that also write the bullshit drivel that we read every other day of the week. As for 8 matches, even I could say that the manager would be up against it if we didn't perform, and if I'm not mistaken, wouldn't we go above Spurs if we win?

As for chasing the title, we'll just have to wait and see as I don't feel we have had as an easy start to the season in comparison to those we want to be challenging; who have Chelsea got again today?

The very wonderfull of this board - that is sady the best of City's fans venues too - is that if a genuine football a nd City lover try to bring a serious and humble contribution to the only and sole cause of City Support ...... he is gonna get abused, accused of the all crimes against the Humanity, WUM, Cunt, Prick, Rag, Salfordian, etc... and never permitted to start a thread, btw.......

.... on the other hand - each and every s.c. breed and born - are entitled to wind up, destabilize, embarass himself and the whole category of the City fans and basically, the more ignorant, ineducated, unqulified You are, the much You will be allowed to slag the Club and Its Directors off and wind other fella Blues up....

...... robinho the most world classer, we will forever regret to let little Stevie (the future Messi in making) go, Mancini is clueless, boring, spending the Club wealth w/o any project/added value, he is causing continue unrest among the PERSONNEL etc..........

Why, oh why all these Pundits who have spent an entire life shouting Come on City and meanwhile supporting the Club like the worst traffordian would do, so much prefer to slag people who are comitted to the Club's success instead of supporting It???

Oh my, oh my, my, my............. Darling Clementine..............

Take the occasion to bring my sincere cheers to some Top Chaps hereon I miss so much.......... :-)

You'd need to make a very good psychiatrist in order to guess what next in a eight yrs long line of hatred...

As you know from the last managerial change, league position has very little to do with it.

Actually, I disagree.

If you want to be a pretend sports writer then yes , the next n games are important.

right now, not to lose on wednesday and a nice boring win against Chelsea would be perfect.

This season has ony just begun

aaah thank you all and good night !

Even if some in the squad have their doubts about what Bobby is doing, the more games we win doing things his way, the quicker those doubts will disappear.

On a similar theme when O'Neil left Villa, I was surprised at the amount of resentment in their squad. But then, MON is a bit of a media favourite and the sharks weren't circling Villa sniffing for blood.
