I like this paper, a lot. The report on the game was excellent and justly called us as significantly superior to the Champions.
However, at the end of the articles, we get this:
Emmanuel Adebaypr replaced his captain for the final minutes and, having been barracked by his own supporters whilst warming up, with chants like "one greedy bastard" and "that's why you're a substitute", even Adebayor ran about.
I was in 110, as per usual and it was crystal clear to anyone that this was aimed at Sturridge. Or have I missed something?

All you've missed is the point soaring way over the Sunday Times man's head. I would imagine he does not know that Sturridge used to play for us. You can't expect journalists to be aware of needless trivia such as facts.

he came through Chelsea's youth system though, just like Lampard and co. ask Lee Dixon...

Embarassing. I honestly think that people on here do ten times better than these "journalists".

Apart from that glaring cock up the article was actually as reasonably fair report. Perhaps a little over the top in parts to be honest but it does make the point that we are really showing signs of being a team. Mancini's pro Chelsea comments are reiterated insofar as they are performing week in week out to high standard. That standard was not good enough yesterday but unless we can step up to that sort of level every week we will not beat the likes of Blackburn and Sunderland.
