Club I always look out for is Borussia Moenchengladbach ..... I used to live there.

Favourite team would be Barca.

Favourite current player? Messi / Fabregas

Favourite of all time? George Best.

Keep an eye on the 2nd best team in the country's 4th city too.

He said non-City, moron.

Sorry, sweetcheeks, I took him to mean non-City to stop you 'morons' from voting for your own.

No problem, I figured most Hammers fans wouldn't choose their own team or players either.

Not as much as I rate Robert Green, what a world cup that lad had.

He's better than that moaning old fool in your reserves.

Two goals conceded at The Hawthorns? Green would probably kill himself if his standards dropped so far.

Forget Shay, you can't afford him....you'd take Taylor in a heartbeat and don't try to deny it.

'Can't afford'.

The true barometer of a player's worth to a supporter.

Enjoy your victory.

I was lucky enough to see Bobby Moore and I loved the way he went about his business. I lived in Ipswich for some time and used to go and watch them sometimes. I was in the "Churchmans" end once when City scored, I jumped up and all of a sudden a few guys got a grip of me ! Another group rescued me as they said I was a bit of a regular. Confusion reigned. Its not like watching the City though !

I always said that if I had been a scouser, I would have been an Evertonian.
I always said that if I'd been a cockney, I would have been a hammer.
But I'm neither of those, I'm a proud Manc, so I have a love for the blues and all the others can go fucl themselves.

That's it really.

Oh I nearly forgot...I also support whoever is playing the rags on any particular day but only whilst they are playing them.

fantastic answer. the Hammer fans i've met in the U.S. and A (all, expats of course) have always, always, and i mean always, been these working class, salt of the earth people...really endearing.

And yr right...the fact that i look for a Napoli score every weekend doesn't mean i truly give a fuck. If i am in love with City, then i barely even have a fleeting glance at Barca or Munchen...my point is that the gap is outrageously huge and it took your post for me to really understand that "favourite" players or clubs outside of City barely rate in comparison. An obvious point, but one that should be made.

cheers

Had we been delving into the past I would have said Le Tiss.
Also always enjoyed watching Ginola play.
And although he has a million problems, Gascoigne was always great entertainment as a player.
And Frank Worthington come to think of it.
City and sniffing knickers.
Come on Blues.
