Sounds extremely unlikely Paul. Lots of away fans try to get tickets in our sellout games, do we place them above us to throw drinks on us?
Maybe he said the third tier seats need a lot of polish?!

Hmm. Maybe a third block or the second tier? No third tier over there.

I think Poznan may be given the third tier but not the South Stand
How many in total fit in both tiers of the away end in South Stand? 3500 - 4000K? How many in the third tier? 6-7K each side?
Lech won't be given 10,000 + tickets.
I think they will get a third tier but city fans will be behind the goal again....just my considered opinion, i'm not ITK

dont shoot the messenger just passing on what i was told. I can see it being very likely(east stand third in previous post) hopefully we wil charge away prices to. No issue at all with polish and if im stereotyping they will spend a lot of money behind bar and be noisy to

Just another example of the chaos that regularly envelops the ticket office. Some people have their 3rd tier seats, others were told the 3rd tier is closed. Others were told it's for Polish fans.

My Dad's got his usual seat in the East Stand 3rd tier. Be fucking hilarious if he's surrounded by Poles bouncing around singing their bollocks off.

My mate was sat in the 3rd tier on Saturday and said their were a few poles near him but they had city cards so wouldn't be surprised if a few had bought city cards for the Poznan match. Im going to phone them tomorrow and ask what the fuck is going on!

it is not possible to segregate fans using spirals to get to 3rd tier from those getting to 2nd so unlikley they will be up there

I hear it's official that the Polish in the UK have been given the East Stand third tier, and any inconvenienced City fans now get a free ticket. Could be quite a crowd turning up for this one!
Manchester City v Lech Poznan, Thursday 21 October 2010
Thank you for purchasing a ticket for the above match.
There has been an overwhelming level of demand for tickets to this match from UK based Polish supporters.
Following consultation with Greater Manchester Police, to ensure that both home and visiting supporters have a safe and enjoyable experience, we are relocating all home supporters out of East Stand Level 3 for this match.
To ensure that you are relocated to a seat in your preferred area of the stadium, with friends and/or family, we would be extremely grateful if you could contact Supporter Services on 0161 438 7805 at the earliest opportunity*. Alternatively, you can visit the Stadium Ticket Office.
We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience that this will cause and would like to refund the cost of your ticket and reissue a complimentary ticket in an alternative location for this match. The money will be refunded by the Supporter Services team when you call or visit to relocate.
Please be aware that your original seat has been cancelled and your card/ticket will not allow access to the stadium. To avoid any confusion, we would request that you destroy the respective seat details receipt, email confirmation or tickets

I'm a seasoncard holder in East Level 3 and I've not had received any communication from the club regarding this. Surely this is just another of those bollocks rumours that's been started on Bluemong?

Are you on the 3rd tier & have received this e-mail or Is this copied from mong? I'd be interested to know if anyone on here, with tickets for the third tier, has had this e-mail & if there's such a thing as 'supporter services'. Last time I had the dreadful misfortune of dealing with them, they were called 'customer services'.
I booked 3 tickets, one of which was on the 3rd tier & have so far received no such e-mail.

So has anyone on here been asked to relocate or had any contact from the club on this matter? I haven't seen or heard anything other than rumours on fan sites.
