Anyone know if he has any sort of role at the club at the moment. My old man has spotted him at every home game so far this season.

With how well he "managed" that Cameroon squad, I don't want him anywhere near the club thanks.

Le Guin is a fine manager who has made some poor career moves. I'd be delighted to hear he works for us.

So he comes to City as what? Nothing less than the manager obviously so we are going to replace a manager who has us in 2nd? I suppose we have form in this area, welcome Le Guen!

What a load of shite really. He won all the qualifiers after taking over, they were 0-1-1 in their group when he took over and basically needed to win the remaining games. They weren't brilliant in the competition but apart from Eto'o and Alexandre Song had crap squad in a very tough group so it was to be expected.

Vastly overated for dominating French football with superior finance and a squad that pissed on the rest of the league.

If he was as good as some make out then he wouldn't have been out of top club football for nearly four years.

You are only saying that because he was shite for Rangers. Which he was. The way Scottish league has regressed over past decade, I don't think it's good idea to bring continental managers there anyway. I saw couple of Rangers games when he was in charge and he had MASSIVE culture shock there. Rangers were quite good in Europe but he tried to make them play continental football in Scotland which was doomed for failure.

And he hasn't been out of the top job for four years. He saved PSG from relegation and won them French League Cup and took them to French Cup final. Then he took Cameroon to World Cup when it looked like they weren't going to qualify. Both bigger jobs, I'd say, than Rangers-

How the fuck do you know? You're not the only one with an opinion on football. Please don't inform me how I form my opinions. He has built his reputation on dominating French football with a squad that was streets ahead of the rest of the league, the fact that Alan Perrin came in after him and did as well as he did says it all really.

BTW, you missed the bit about him almost taking PSG down. As I say, if he was the outstanding manager you claim he is, he wouldn't be where he is. Cream rises to the top regardless of career choices, it does not end up fighting relegation in French football or managing in Africa.

Lastly, you mentioned that apart from Eto'o and Song he had a really poor squad at the worold cup. Strange then that he chose not to start with one of his two best players in two of the games and chose to play the other one out of position. Genius!
