Corriere dello sport reckon Juve have agreed a deal to sign him. Twenty million euros plus Momo Sissoko. No link cos I'm on me phone but I got this off Oliver Kay's twitter.

Bit gutted if true.

Juventus have signed Edin Dzeko from Wolfsburg and he will join the club in June 2011 for a fee worth in the region of €30 million (£25.9m)

Il Corriere dello Sport claims Andrea Agnelli has already made his early transfer hit in what appears like an intriguing deal which stretches all the way back to Diego's move to Germany.

Wolfsburg have only paid Juventus €10m (£8.6m) of the agreed €20m (£17.3m) fee for Diego.

The Germans will reportedly get Mohammed Sissoko, valued at around €10m (£8.6m) as part of the deal which sees Dzeko, who has been linked with a switch to Manchester City, move to Juventus.

And the Italians will then give Wolfsburg a remaining €10m (£8.6m) for Dzeko in a deal worth around €30m (£25.9m).

Reports also suggest the Bundesliga club have been scouting Catania striker Maxi Lopez - adding weight to the voices regarding a Dzeko deal. The Argentinian will be the preferred choice as Dzeko's replacement.

Juve shall be on 2011 the 1st and actually only one club in Italy to have the property of their new ground, the Stadio delle Alpi. That means their board will have wages of money to spend. And Dzeko is the best option to add better class to their team! It looks to me City and gobbi - as Italian fans who hate Juve called bianconeri - shall be top class squads for next Champions League.

I agree with you to some extent, but don't rule out Milan, you know how Berlusconi gets when there's to win elections and who says we won't have to vote for a new government in spring/early summer 2011 (hopefully not, as that would push Italy into more chaos).

Also, we shall see who Roma's next owner will be, depending on that, and on Roma getting back into CL, they might be big spenders too (I'm hoping they will, at least, lol).

Regarding Dzeko, I'm gutted about these news, I really like him and would have loved him at City, now he won't be coming, add to it that he's going to one of the teams I loathe the most and you can see why I don't like this move. :(

I thought he always wanted to go to Juve and that's most probably why we didn't get him in the summer. If that was the case, how can we be really arsed?

We don't know exactly what Mario Balotelli could give to our club, why could we be unhappy if Dzeko would sign for Juve?

Because the more good players we have the more we can cope with injuries, suspensions, bad form patches and still be competitive on all fronts, I think.

I think we've missed the boat on this one but I'm hopeful that once Mario's fit we'll have all bases covered
