Just caught the very arse end on SSN...think I just seen a serb smashing the glass in their enclosure with crow bar.
If that's the case, HTF did the Italians bid for the Euros if their security is that shit?

remember last year the frog who got done in belgrade thoses fcuking serbs are a disgrace to europe i hope uefa take action and ban the fcukers for a few years ,clubs & country,
then again i don't know if it wasn't the "i ties"who were at fault ,this story is not finished

Didn't Trotters go and play Partizan in the Wafer a while back, and they got annexed in their hotel by the locals, and the the dibble wouldn't let them go?

Whats the beef between the Serbs & Italians then? Anything historical or just hooliganism in general? Italians claim to be the big bollocks of thuggery in Europe yet they may have met their match with the idiots from the former eastern block countries.

From what I've understood, Serbian fans have been creating trouble in Genoa since before reaching the stadium, with many shops in the centre of the town having to hastily close to avoid being damaged. Then they attacked their team's pullman and managed to throw smoke bombs in it, hitting their goalkeeper Stojkovic, who, in fact, wasn't even on the bench in the few minutes played. Then, the match started half an hour later because they kept throwing smoke bombs on the pitch, there was particularly one who seemed the leader and kept inciting the others to keep going.
Then the game was finally started because UEFA didn't have the balls to call it a night beforehand, and five minutes into it two smoke bombs almost reached Italy's goalkeeper, so the game was interrupted and eventually cancelled (for tonight, at least). The stadium was emptied, and I don't know what's happening now in the city.

The way Serbia are playing at the moment I imagine they'd be happy with that.

Heard that too but the hooligans won't give a fuck to be honest, they were just out for a ruck. the Italian police are shit scared of organised hooligans as they pretty much run the clubs in italy anyway. The Italian dibble aren't even allowed in one end of the San Siro during match day!!

don't know if i agree with that ,after all the italians are at home so security is down to them ,like i mentioned earlier how the fcuk did the serbs get the flares ,etc into the ground ,Italian football needs to have a long hard look to get their house in order as does the serbs, turks, greek, etc etc
just waiting for "rai uno" news report coming up

Those coppers looked well tooled up so I don't see the problem. They should've carried on with the game and when it started, waded in and started cracking some skulls. A few baton rounds and some serious aerosol mace would've sorted it, and with a few returned smoke bombs and flares they'd have been crying in the cheap seats.
Those I'ties need to get some Nuts!!!

There's no beef. The hooligans are trying to get their team disqualified as a protest against the serbian FA. After disgracefully sacking renowned and respected manager Radomir Antic for dubious reasons and replacing him with some muppet I can understand the frustration. Venting it this way however, is a travesty and I hope the fuckers who brought 400 flares and threw them into the stands get done good.
And to clarify this. The serbian keeper Stojkovic, who came through Red Star's youth setup, was attacked on purpose by some Delije (Red Star ultras), because he signed on loan for their rivals Partizan this season. Mad.

Flares in Italin football grounds are normal, most games have flares being lit at some point or other. Italian football suffers quite badly from head in the sand syndrome and it goes back a long way. Most people consider England to have been teh biggest hooligan presence of Italia 1990, but on the night Italy lost to Argentina, more italian fans were arrested in one night that England fasn arrested during the whole tournement
