Don't know who I want to lose this more. Love to see Everton get put in their place but got so many Liverpool mates I can't cope with them getting deluded again. If they win I guarantee someone will mention 'the title race' and i honestly don't think I can cope with them. Its always a shit game, but cracking atmosphere.

The worse Liverpool do the more chance that Torres will want out, and while I dont want him here, I dont him there either. Once he goes the new owners will have a lot bigger job getting liverpool back to where they should be.
Preferably if Torres goes somewhere like Valencia or Juventus.

torres has become really unlikeable this last year or so, from someone who always played with a smile to a petty diva. there was a time i'd have killed for him coming to us, but i would rather have Ade.

Personally when on form I probably couldnt decide between them, but I dont want anymore glass players on our wage bill, we've had too many over the last few years.
I think his problem at the moment is that he doesnt seem to be enjoying his game, his head drops and he is playing the worst football of his career.

Everton have bossed this game from the start, not looking good for Liverpool

sandman, that is the original problem, it's not unsurprising for top players to have a dip in form, but its the person he's become since he's dipped, telling jamie carragher to be quiet in the first few minutes today et al i thik he could actually be quite a negative influence on the dressing room right now. and just in terms of comparing him to Ade, when they're on form its a very hard decision, but Ade is way cooler!

It's got to be Torres when on form, best striker in the world IMO when fully fit and interested. Think the injuries and the rushing him back have taken there toll plus I think he has fallen out of love with Liverpool. No debate over him and Ade. I have seen Ade have a handfull of decent games since being at City, not his biggest fan!

I think of Adebayors best as when we played Arsenal last year, but then he was driven by more than just love of the game so maybe I hold him in higher regard than I should.

I think if he played like that week in and week out I would believe that we could win the league but I can't see it. I think he will be gone if not in January by the summer.

the biggest difference between drogba and ade is consistency if ade he can find it he can reach drogba's level. that's a big IF.

After the last league round, someone with a great sense of humour added a line to the statue of John Lennon outside Liverpool Airport. The inscription reads 'Above us only sky', which was complemented with 'Below us only Wolves and West Ham'.
I guess the addition needs to be revised now.

I honestly hope he starts on thursday, if he gets a goal or two then hopefully he'll get his confidence back right before a massively important game, i'd like to see him start next sunday, even if only for 45 mins. I'd love to see him repeat last year, if he doesnt come up with the goods then he can be used sporadically as rest for Tev until Ballotelli is fit.
