......shite and should never pull on the shirt of my club ever again. I feel that he just doesn't want to play for us any longer, fine, fuck off then.

Really starting to come round to that opinion, I have mentally given him so many chances and I thought today he would prove he is worth sticking with, but not so sure at all anymore.

A City player......

questionable attitude and application and payback to the club for his salary

however, he's very talented and could still contribute a significant intervention or two to our season......until he's clearly not going to feature for us again I see no value in getting on his back.....just as I feel the same re Roque

Ade is one of those players that need a run of games to get his form going, we've all seen what he can do if that happens. In our current set up he needs to take any starting chance he gets and he just ain't that kind of player I'm afraid. On form I'd keep him no question.

reminiscent of Ireland of last season. given chance after chance but has not taken it.
still pulling for the lad though, because he's a quality player.

46 in 104 for Arsenal, one in two ratio for City?

How about giving the guy a bit of time before writing him off? I'm sure United fans are still backing Rooney and Liverpool fans Torres. This kind of talk makes the fans look like proper ungrateful, shallow bastards.

i agree with you on this point. I love ade and his potential. Fans on his back at arsenal were what made him want away. He won't feel any differently here. An emotional player who isn't hitting his stride right now. Some faith in him will be justly rewarded.

Cheers

With both city and Arsenal, his goalscoring record could simply be a result of him being a good player at the business end of two good sides who will always create opportunities for good players to score goals. I have seen very very little since the Arsenal game last season to suggest he deserves to be anywhere near our first team.

He seems to have the touch of a rapist and the mental fortitude of a 5 year old, and until he changes that, he will never be the main star at a club that he seems to think he should be. We need a striker who can come in and weigh in for Tevez's workrate and share of goals if he gets injured. He has shown zero to suggest this will ever happen.

I worry for his future at the club

i'm always happy when i see he's starting, or about to come on, but he is yet to perform this season. i don't think he's lazy as fuck and from what i saw today he was trying. his quality is proven at this level, so lets give him a chance eh? always capable of quality.

One of our own who needs to feel wanted, one of our own who suffered an horrific, life changing event. One of our own who we supported throught this event showing our solidarity with him in the hope that this feeling would ease his pain knowing that we support him.

Keep faith in him, he is mercurial but undeniably a talent.

Great posts there lookmum and doomy.

I think most MCF.netters need a boo boy to slag off as they are so used to moaning about how shite City are, but now we are 2nd in the league and on a better form than those above they are choosing to slate a player who has had 1 start in 8 games, has played less than 2 hours of football this season, has had an injury in the last few weeks and has scored 14 in 26 league appearances last season, that is a great record by anyones standards.

Once the guy has played regular football for our club then I will form my opinion of him, but for now I wish people would shut the fuck up criticising until he has had a fair chance to prove himself.
