Silva to start and Ade to fuck off.
Silva look raring to go and is a quality player.
Adebayor is a fuclin waster and needs to go.Great start to his City career, but has a really bad attitude, enough is enough I'm afraid.

I like Ade..but to be honest his head is not right..I doubt he will be here next summer and I think both he and the club will mutually want that
no doubt we will dip into the Market again when he leaves though

Give him 1 more week lads. If he cant bring it against the Arse then I'll jump on your bandwagon.
I'm sure he will though.

That's the problem though isn't it, you can almost guarantee he'll have a blinder against Arsenal if he plays, and go back to the half-arsed performances in the next game. If he played to the level he did against Arsenal last September four weeks out of five, he'd be a world class striker, one of the best. He doesn't so he's not.
I reckon once Balotelli's back fit he'll hardly ever feature and be gone in January.

Mancini has already shwn his hand by attemptingto buy another striker this summer. Ade is here because we failed to land who we targeted and will remain here until he is replaced.
Ade has no future here and he knows it.
He is not part of Mancini's longer term plan but can do a job until Mario and A N Other is found

CTK perhaps thats why he started yesterday to get his fitness levels up a bit with Mancini knowing he will put in more than a shit against the Arse.
I think he will go in Jan but only if suitable replacement.

Game vs arse was the end (ish) of his season last year, lets hope this yeah it can be the beginning.
I dont know how anyone that plays alongside Tevez can get away with looking so lazy, if you're playing wank at least run around like a nutter and show more effort!

Unlike many i thought Ade was better. Still off the pace all round, but showing signs of getting in the right positions and his workrate wasn't too bad imo. Give him another couple of games to get up to sharpen up. Tevez was off the pace at the start of the season and imo that is how Ade looks now. It would be worth it if we persevere with him and he finds some form in the next few games.
The rest of the story is as it was before though, for him to be able to stick around at City he has to perform in every game.

Agreed, He will deffo be up for the Arsenal game but he should be like that for every game he starts.

Were those saying he will be up for the arse game actually watching the other day?
Yes he played shit, but he looked well and truly motivated. He tracked back chased defenders Nd was clearly pissed off with his lack of control more than once.

I agree Pretty boy. It was the most animated I'd seen him for a while. The mind was willing but the body wasn't able.

Personally, I'd have them both playing. Silva at the top of the diamond, Tevez in a free striker role and Ade up top. The other 3 midfield places can be covered by either Barry, Nige, Milner, Yaya or AJ, dependant on the opposition.

I want us to persevere a bit longer. We know he can be devastating when on any sort of form.

I'm with you piccs, but he has to start now. Long term we probably do need to replace him with a more "grounded" striker

Obviously we have no idea how it is going to pan out, but for my money Bobby has handled him well.. told him in pre-season he needed to show his quality, dropped him when he started squeeling and told him publicly to sort his shit out, work and score goals. He didn't give him back a start since his dead leg even though he was apparently storming in training, which has been the key for me, Mancini is being tough but fair and looks to me to be aiming at the long term effect on Adebayor, to get him to realise that he must be on top of his game and put a shift in every time.
Changing Adebayor's mentality is no mean feat but if Bobby Manc manages it or even gets close, City benefit and we will all be in admiration of his man management skill.
At this moment in time there is no reason not to persevere, nothing can be done till january anyway and all other options are injured or simply not good enough.
It is a bit of a critical time for Ade, as he has a few more games to show his intent, if he blows it then he will lose out to Balotelli and be pushed out of the club.
