Boro have parted ways with their manager and Tony Mowbray is red hot favourite to take over the job.

I'm praying they don't give Mowbray the job, if they do there's a real danger that pointless bunch of inbred smog swamp dwelling freaks might get back in the Prem. Anyone but them.

As good as done by all accounts. He knows the players after all

Teams I rather see back in the prem:

Ipswich, Norwich, Burnley, Leeds, Coventry, Crystal Palace, QPR, Forest, Oldham, Southampton, Swindon, Reading, Leicester, Watford, Sheffield U and W, Derby, Charlton, Bradford, Wimbeldon proper, Pompey and Barnsley.

Not surprising going on money spent and current league position. Never rated Mowbray, he may well get them promoted but he'll also take them straight back down the following season

Their fans must br the most unloyal and fickle in the country. The club went down and that is when you need the support of your fans the most but they have stayed away in their droves. Fuck-em. They'll be downsizing their ground soon.

No, AJ would be completely lost. Ruined by Strachan.

Couldnt happen to a nicer fella. His "arent I a smart arse" routine with interviewers wears very thin after a while and it will be a long time before someone is daft enough to give him another job.

I'd like Boro back up. It's a destination that our trains serve so it's a good "Macca Tours" do. I missed Newcastle last season for the same reason. Bloody New Years Day this season with no trains running. Bugger.

We have trains new years day. I thought we played boxing day and no trains then. I think you are losing it in your old age

Bloody hell. There are trains on New Years Day and we are playing Newcastle on Boxing day. So wrong on both counts.
However there are no trains when we play Newcastle away. That I'm right about. Now what the fuck day is it today?

I've always said Platt was an underrated manager and should be given another chance, I would reluctantly wave him off, and even drive him there myself (knowing I would have to pay for an intensive course of lessons and pass the darned test first).
