A pretty low key work out today bearing in mind the big game tomorrow but the good news was that they were all out there .Even Kolo although he was just doing gentle stuff 1 to 1. The word is should be ok for next weekend and it was only a minor hamstring problem.
Excellent spirit continues to be shining through and Mario seems to be loving it and interacting well with the rest.Mancini did his usual short session with the team for tomorrow and there were plenty of short exercises for the whole squad. They did have 2 football sessions. The first being all about pass and move with just 2 or even only 1 touch but when they did a final 6 a side game there were plenty who just walked inside, Tevez included. The fitness it there so no need to overdo it now.

Cheers Doug.

I was hoping you'd say Kolo made a miraculous recovery and was fit for tomorrow. Never would have thought we'd be so desperate to have him in the team a few months ago but he's been brilliant.

Do you reckon Balotelli will be on the bench?

I was suprised to see him training and wondered the same but I am sure he won't. I asked if he would be a a couple of weeks and the answer was no less thatn that it wasnt a bad problem.

Mario might just make the bench but personally I wouldnt expect him to.

good news all round.. thanks Doug.

just to say once again what value it is having your reports.. Kolo was a concern to all and it is great that you get this
inside info.

The real concern now is this larking around and fun stuff. ( cant you have a quiet word ).

An example of how brilliant Dougs work is last week the commentators noted that both Toures had been dropped. Of course we knew better.

Cheers Douglas.

Doug,

What's the story with Gai Assulin, as per the other thread? Is he with us or not?

Cheers.

Not really got a clue.He certainly hasn't been with the first team squad at any time and to my knowledge has never featured in a reserve game. Maybe injured or maybe a figment of somebody's imagination.

I hope Mancinin chosses either Boyata or Boateng to partner Komp today. Lescott has been scary the last 2 games.
